Dave Allan is the Corporate Security Supervisor of PNMResources, Inc., the holding company for Public Service Company of New Mexico(PNM) and Texas New Mexico Power (TNMP). Dave resides in Albuquerque NewMexico and has spent eight years building the physical security and businesscontinuity programs for the company. He currently oversees several majorphysical security projects for the new compliance measures under NERC CIP006-6, affecting areas containing High and Medium Impact BES Cyber Systems aswell as other physical security hardening measures in order to protect critical assets, the grid, and employees. Prior to moving into hiscurrent role, Dave spent 21 years in the United States Air Force in theSecurity Forces career field where he spent several years developing securityand evaluation programs for physical security and compliance. Dave hailsfrom Austin Texas. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in BusinessAdministration and a Master of Arts in Security Management from the AmericanMilitary University.
