 Guenter Conzelmann
Guenter Conzelmann Center Director Argonne National Laboratories
Guenter Conzelmann is the Director of the Center for Energy, Environmental, and Economic Systems Analysis at Argonne National Laboratory. He is a Senior Fellow with the Energy Policy Institute at Chicago/University of Chicago as well as with the Northwestern University’s NAISE Institute and an Adjunct Faculty with the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology. His research focuses on the development and application of modeling and simulation tools to study strategic energy and power sector issues, including renewable energy integration, smart grid and microgrid implementation, advanced grid modeling, energy sector resilience, and environmental impacts of energy production. Mr. Conzelmann is also leading Argonne’s Wind Power Technologies and Analysis Program.

He is the author/co-author of numerous publications, including journal articles, book contributions, conference papers, and sponsor reports in the energy and power systems field. He is frequently invited to speak on these subjects at conferences, workshops, and training courses around the world.
