Richard Ward serves as Manager, National Security Policy for the Edison Electric Institute (EEI), where he is responsible for the electric sector's grid security strategic messaging. Rich is a member of the Electricity Subsector Coordinating Council, which is coordinating the industry-government effort to prepare for national-level disasters or threats to critical infrastructure.
Prior to joining EEI, Rich served as communications advisor and speechwriter to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and as Senior Press Advance Representative at the White House for President George W. Bush.
